Each engagement produces a defined control set rather than a retainer.
Every engagement follows the same four stages. Each stage produces an artefact that remains with you. You receive an assessment of the current estate, a target control design, a deployed and version controlled baseline, and a documented handover your own engineers can operate. Nothing in the control set is held privately by SUDO, and nothing needs a retainer to keep running.
We inventory accounts, organizational units, existing guardrails and Config rules, then score your environment against the AWS Well-Architected Operational Excellence pillar and record every control gap with its owner. Findings are ranked by audit exposure.
We design the target account structure, the service control policy set and the AWS Config conformance packs that enforce it. The design is reviewed against your regulatory obligations before a single change reaches a production account.
We train your team on the guardrails, cost controls and security settings in your own AWS environment, not on generic lab accounts. Sessions cover governance, cost management and security operations. Each one ends with documented runbooks your team owns, so day-to-day operations do not depend on us.
We establish scheduled drift detection against the deployed baseline and an evidence export your compliance team can hand to an auditor without reconstructing the estate by hand each quarter. Continued operation runs through Managed Cloud Services.
AWS makes it fast to build. Keeping what you’ve built governed as it grows takes specialist expertise. SUDO Consultants holds AWS Service Delivery designations for AWS Config and AWS CloudFormation, the two services an AWS environment is governed with.
