Event Overview
Cloud Migration in KSA took place at the Fairmont Riyadh, bringing together enterprise leaders, cloud architects, and cybersecurity decision-makers from across the Kingdom for an exclusive roundtable co-hosted by SUDO Consultants and IDC. With public cloud services in Saudi Arabia projected to grow at a 31% CAGR through 2029, the session moved beyond the case for cloud adoption to address the harder, more urgent questions facing enterprises today. The agenda explored how organisations can approach cloud migration more strategically assessing readiness, mitigating risk, and aligning cloud investments with measurable business outcomes aligned to Vision 2030. Key topics covered included:
- How Vision 2030 priorities are shaping enterprise cloud strategy across the Kingdom
- Sovereign cloud, data residency, and NCA compliance in cloud architecture and migration decisions
- Accelerating migration timelines while maintaining security controls and risk management
- Building internal capability to operate, optimise, and grow on the cloud post-migration
SUDO CEO Hameedullah Khan delivered a session on building a cloud foundation for resilience, ROI, and AI in Saudi Arabia, and participated in the panel discussion on securing the Kingdom within the AWS KSA Region framework, alongside IDC’s Associate Research Director for META and AWS’s Partner Solution Architect for Cybersecurity and AI.
